IAF Video: Attack on rocket mosque

from Doberman @ I Luv SA But...

You would have noted from my post The suffering that Hamas causes that I am solidly in the Israeli camp in its latest battle with Hamas. I blame Hamas for the predicament of the Palestinian people in Gaza. It is a terrorist entity and there is only one way to deal with terrorists: brute force.

The Gaza War: Is It Really So Hard to Understand?
"Absolutely not, I say, it’s like Pearl Harbor or September 11. If someone announces they are going to go to war with you and then does it, you retaliate and fight."

Hamas has been told by the world including the Arab League to cease firing rockets into Israel. It refuses to stop. Hamas is therefore 100% responsible for the deaths occurring from the onslaught from Israel. Hamas, like its terrorist twin Hezbollah in Lebanon is not averse to using its own people as human shields. It places rockets in residential homes, basements, mosques, schools etc thinking that Israel would be loathe to attack those sites due to the 'collateral' damage and resulting bad media for Israel.

Israel has, however, this time, quite rightly, and acting legitimately under Article 51 of the Charter of the United Nations which reads, "Nothing in the present Charter shall impair the inherent right of individual or collective self-defence if an armed attack occurs against a Member of the United Nations..." attacked targets wherever they may be.

Hamas wanted this war, it can end it immediately by stopping the rocket attacks which are geared solely at civilians unlike Israel's attacks which focus on the security services, rocket launch sites and armaments storage and transport facilities. The fact that Hamas won't stop the rockets should make it clear to all that it is Hamas, not Israel, that is prolonging this latest conflict.

On Wednesday, the IAF destroyed a mosque that was being used to store Kassams and Grad Katyusha rockets. Hamas used the mosque for storing rockets because they figure the very moral and proper Israelis would never attack a mosque. And they wouldn't have if they hadn't known what was in it.

For those of you who have closely followed the American battles in Iraq, this should sound familiar from Fallujah. The Muslims rant and rave about their 'holy mosques' and then they go ahead and use them for purposes that have nothing to do with the worship of God.

Then again, what they do to other religions' shrines is worse.

Palestinian girl: Hamas responsible for war

A haunting clip from an outfit that specializes in them: Portrait of a human shield, her four-year-old sister one of 60 civilians killed in IAF strikes so far (versus 300+ Hamas personnel), under no illusions about where the blame lies. I wish I could tell you she represents Palestinian sentiment generally, but I can’t. Note, though, that this aired not on an Israeli network but on Palestinian Authority TV.
